R O U N D   T H O U G H T S

I incorporated clay into fragments of newborn rocks

formed by lava from Mount Etna.

They emerged as a series of mental concretions, nodules of the mineral world,

seeds of nature transformed into "seeds of thought."

In this blurring of the boundary between the natural and the manmade,

I sense the feelings of the human, mineral, and plant world.

Ho inglobato con la creta alcuni frammenti di lava dell’Etna, rocce appena nate.

Sono una serie di concrezioni mentali, possono somigliare a noduli o concrezioni naturali del mondo minerale,

una sorta di semi della natura trasformati in "semi del pensiero".

Sfumando il confine tra il naturale e l’artificiale,

cerco di intravedere i sentimenti sia del mondo umano, che di quello minerale e vegetale.
